Western Breakfast

Today in Guangzhou it is 26°C in the shade

The other day my tummy was crying out for some comfort food so I cooked for the first time in over 3 weeks. Bacon and eggs with toast. I made the toast on the gas stove using a wire rack meant to hold hot pots off the counter (too cheap to buy a toaster).  They were fantastic and brought back memories of the cottage, as we always had to cook our toast over the propane stove. The bacon was much like Canadian bacon but the strips were wider. When I sat down to eat it all it was like being back in Canada. All that was missing was the chocolate milk. (Notice the IKEA plate, I have 5 more of them!!!)

It tasted great. The cost was high but well worth it, about 10 y (2CAD).
